That first XI isn't that bad.

The fringe squad players are a bit pants, but I like the look of Wilson and Smith. Gilliead is perfectly reliable, too.

I'd rather us play Smith up front with Cook, which would mean dropping one of the attacking midfielders and letting them battle it out.

There is a team in there somewhere, but it doesn't suit 4-4-2 because all wing options have either been completely unavailable or completely awful. Yet it needs 2 up top.

If we get back to full strength with Pattison back in the side, there's a real chance we can avoid the drop.

 

I think the longer we spend in league 2 or worse, getting dumped out of the cups in the first round year after year, the season ticket numbers will naturally reach a normal level no matter how cheap they are.
For example I firmly believe we have a core 6-8000 who will renew at almost any reasonable cost.
The rest might fall off but will attend several games per season on a pay on day basis @£25 each.
Some will disappear completely but will be back if success returned.
So in my opinion the time to increase prices to say £300 will be when less than 10000 are buying at cheap prices.
Not an exact science due to varying types of fans. Ie. Junior/oap/adult but 10000 x £199 = £1.9 million and 7000 x £300 = £2.1million.
We are creatures of habit and I do believe that we have at least 7000 fans whom wouldn’t want to sack off their Saturday / Tuesday football to sit at home bored.
And don’t pretend there’s a plethora of other activities to do in Bradford / Yorkshire..There isn’t

Relegation watch: 2 bottom of the table 6 pointers today.

Could do with 2 draws really. Wins for Tranmere and FGR in particular reduce our buffer to just 4 points. Win for Grimsby and they overtake us.

We're absolutely in the shit now, and we can no longer rely on our 'boring' defence.

The majority of your posts are just anti-Cook, just wondering what he has done to upset you so much, because there are a lot more pressing matters regarding underperforming players or just plain shite players in that squad than Cookie

 

Currently 4 points off relegation. How far do we have to drop before even the last remnants of naivety realise just how a club with absolutely no leadership from the boardroom down. Until that changes this club goes nowhere. Most us, or at least the intelligent ones, could see the writing on the wall because of this. We are a club that simply goes through the motions and that's not fair on the fans or the players.

We are now on pace for 51 points, which is the highest points total for a relegated side in the 3-points-for-a-win era. Over our last 10 matches we are on pace for 46 points, which is cutting it far too fine. Can't score enough, can't defend well enough.

At the moment, this season has 'relegation scrap' written all over it. At least there is over half a season to go, so it doesn't have to remain this way.

Maybe just me but I feel that a relegation battle is less likely than I felt at midday today.
