Well it's time for Canmeron Dawson to do the decent thing:

Hahahaha! Laughed out loud. And then thought about that scence....ouch. Perhaps Reading have a tunnel leading from their bath directly to the M4. We could have a bus on standby and bugger back off oop north at hald time!

Hypothetically if McCracken and Hadi were both called up to miss a league game, who would be back up to Dawson?

Would we sign someone on a 1 month contract or promote a child?

I think we will just promote the U19s keeper and take the risk Dawson doesn't get injured or send off during the match. There's also the option for Doyle to be registered just in case and he can always be called up last minute.

There's an irony that if we didn't sign Dawson and just left Hadi as number 2 then we would have been able to get Reading postponed due to having no senior goalkeepers.

Also if Dawson was to get injured during the break then we'll be able to bring in an emergency loan goalkeeper so for the risk of him being injured just before or during a match it's probably not worth bringing someone in for 1 league game (which may still be postponed) and an EFL Trophy game.

The loan finished a couple of weeks ago, didn't sound like it went too well and ended up with him returning injured.

Just looking into him, he's recently been called up to the Wales U16 squad, he will be too old for them now but both the U17s and U18s have games coming up so could be a risk of him being called up as well.

At this rate we may well be asking Doyle to come out of retirement

EDIT: Wales have just announced the U17 squad and he's not been selected. They've also announced the U19 squad but not the U18 squad who play games on 3rd and 5th October so it could be that squad is announced at a later date.

Could be one of those where we don't name a keeper on the bench.

How unfair is this. 2 of our 3 keepers get called up, but we still cannot postpone the Reading match. This further endorses my view that the whole programme of EFL games should be cancelled during international breaks.

I presume we can look at an emergency loan, come back Big Sam for a week as Watford wont have a game!

Only McCracken misses the Reading game. Touray and Hadi are back at Bradford.

Yeh Doyle registered as back up is probably the best option.

Whilst they may be back in time for the Reading match, that wouldn't be considered under the postponement rules, which seem to be:

"When two matches fall in one international window, any application from a team during either of those windows would have to cover both games. This means a club can’t seek to postpone one game and not the other."
