Accrington, Harrogate, Barrow will be safe by then and nothing to play for IMO. Newport will be on the beach and Crewe may or may not be pushing for a play off spot.

So I don't think surviving is a factor to be considered.

 

My predictions for the promotion pack...

City vs Cheltenham - 3pts
Bromley vs Doncaster - 0pts
Carlisle vs Walsall - 1pt
Morecambe vs Wimbledon 3pts
Notts vs Barrow - 3pts
Port Vale vs Harrogate 3pts

 

Thinking similar. I dont think Donny win but they might leave with a point. Carlisle and Walsall i just cant call which feels stupid when its 1st vs 24th. Walsall cant keep a clean sheet, Carlisle have seemingly sorted their defence and are at home. Reckon Wimbledon, Notts and Vale win though unless something daft happens.

 

Yeh Donny deffo good for a point but seemed like a safe suggestion. Just thinking back to Bromleys win over Wimbledon so im giving them the edge tonight.

 

We are about to enter the stage when alot of silly results start to happen ......... just got a feeling that an healthy haul of points over the next 4 games could see us with a very healthy gap indeed.
We should be looking at least 8/10 points over the next four games are the others around us gonna pull in the same amount ????
Just a big night tonight we win tonight and Walsall dont then rather than it being 5 teams after 2 spots it becomes 3 from 6 something nobody could see happening before we played the leaders.

Carlisle may have turned a corner and thank fook that we have played them twice same as Morecambe teams that are fighting for there lives tend to throw a spanner in there lets hope Carlisle and Morecambe start doing that

 

Notts County, losing tonight, play Wimbledon, Grimsby, Chesterfield and Crewe in their next 4 matches.
They could be miles behind us by the end of the month.

 

Feels like the results tonight were just hand picked by city fans. The sort of match week that makes you think it’s your year.

As said in the match thread, Morecambe, Barrow and Bromley all beating our rivals by scoring their only efforts on target tonight. What a night!! 8 points off the play off sides, yes they have games in hand but it's better to have points on the board than to play catch-up!

 

Just looking at the scores …We couldn’t have written a fantasy novel better than that?

Yep. If we hadnt recruited so well in Jan and had Tayo, Lapslie, Khela, Mellon and Leigh to call on, youth lads would have been making up the numbers tonight…..we’re feeling the benefit of the recruitment now!
