When you have a global reach like the premiership does now and you have potential demand of tens of millions for tickets you can ask pretty much what you want and get it. I'll be honest the product of the premiership is starting to bore me, I find myself gravitating over to the UCL and Europa league for a more exciting product as a neutral, the atmospheres are much better than the stale sanitised premier league although having clubs like Leeds and Sunderland back in will help. I can see a long term vision where extended leagues of the UCL, Europa and conference eventually take over as football fans search for a proper football fix.

Given the reduced allocation of tickets for the National League play off final, a petition has been started. I have signed as l believe that supporters should have the option and as discussed earlier there are alternatives to Wembley Park Station.
If you are interested then here is the link. You could post and confirm if you support the petition.

    I've signed.

There are bigger things to worry about in the world, but a classic example of football fans being sh4t on.

I am shocked!! I hadn’t realised it has got this bad. This level of greed sold as a ‘business model’ will be its downfall. Football is popular worldwide but they eventually will lose any sense of a City/Town club/community experience.

That’s true , the normal does make it acceptable, however morals win me over. I generally refuse to watch “ manufactured” sports partaken in abnormal locations.

Women’s football no 1, boxing another , cricket I now detest , US “ soccer” , ( Saudi will follow it eventually into the wilderness).Manufactured events for Sky. ( Or Pay per View) . Anyone can fill their boots however as many say, principles are everything.

You only have to look at the “ front rows” at Liverpool , Spurs, Tottenham , it’s like the league of Asia nations …all tourists ! ( I’m not being racist before anyone jumps on that wagon)

I am not against tourists coming to watch a game, but to stop season ticket sales in order to get a huge increase from tourists is totally wrong.

It's been a really poor game.

Neither team have any ability to get the final ball right.

Can see Charlton being like a wall in the second half.

They are very deep but Orient look like they have one play which is get it to Agyei and see if he can whip a ball in. They need to change something as its very easy for Charltons defence so far. Not a lot of quality on show.

Best result for me, Orient will have a lower budget than Charlton. A lot of Orient's better players are loan players so most likely that they will lose them. Dan Agyei is also out of contract and I would imagine they will face a fight to keep him, he a player I would love us to sign, he would be perfect for how we want to play. I can remember when we played Burnley in pre-season and he came on and did really well then got a loan to Coventry making his debut against us and destroyed our defence until Tony Mowbray took him off after an hour which changed the game.

We were heavily linked for Agyei when he signed for Orient. It was the right result, Orient were by far the second best side. Had very little end intent other than a 5 minute spell in the second half.

As I understand it,although each club has been allocated 17,500 tickets each, the tickets are match tickets only. They can sell another 9,000 each if these additional tickets are sold with a coach ticket.,which I believe is what both clubs are going to do.If all these tickets are sold,it would be a record crowd for a National league play off final.

Update…..’The club is pleased to confirm that we have now received agreement for an allocation of an additional 4,000 match-only tickets.
This means both clubs now have an open allocation of 21,500, in addition to those sold as part of a coach package’.

We saw today in the Man Utd v Villa match why the delayed whistle is hugely beneficial. As the referee didn't delay his whistle Villa wrongly had a goal ruled out as there was nothing VAR could do about it as play was stopped before the ball entered the goal.
