Former Bantams involved in the National league play offs.Osadebe scored for Forest Green, who lost on penalties, and Corry Evans was mom for Oldham, who beat York.Oldham v Southend in the final,so one former ELF team is coming back.

All those teams were in the EFL, (including the mighty Nailsworth vegans)! In fact thirteen of the twenty four in the National League are former Football League clubs.

Actually two teams are coming back Barnet and Oldham or Southend. Oldham are a former Premier League club!

York not getting through after all their big spending will hurt their owners big style. They thought they could buy themselves promotion.

It was on the cards tbh. Williamson is free and enjoys the tippy tappy stuff.

It was a blessing in disguise. If York had tried to play the slow playing from the back style in league 2,they would have been hammered almost every week.

To accumulate 96 points over the season and still miss out must hurt like hell.

First play off final today, I hope Sunderland do it but I think Sheff will. I listened to the overlap yesterday and Keiron Maguire was on, he was saying that the PL are desperate for Sheff to come up because they'll save money in parachute payments. If Sheff come up, the PL get £84 million back in their books as they no longer have to pay parachute payments to the 3 teams coming up..... and that £84m should just about cover their legal fees in the Man City case.

They still get about £50m back I think he said just from Burnley and Leeds, but still! Prefer Sunderland to go up anyway, big club, lively fans and they cant keep having the same clubs going up and down.

Bit of a piss take about the NL final. Oldham and Southend have been capped at 17,500 tickets each for the final because Wembley Park tube station is closed. Both clubs could have travelled very well for that one, Southend say that they had about 30,000 ticket sale enquiries since the made it to Wembley. Massive own goal.

I struggle to believe Southend would take anywhere remotely close to 30k. Enquiries are one thing ?

Probably not, but everyone comes out the shadows for a Wembley day. The planning between the powers that be in the NL and the transport network is the own goal. It's not like a planned station closure is news to them.

I know Wembley Park Station is probably the most popular of the 3 different stations that serve the Wembley area, but there are alternative ways to get there.
Both are clubs with a long history in the Football League and I am sure would have taken more than 17,500 each.
