Don’t think Wallsall are playing ball

 

I notice is the same ref we had last weekend. Good reward as I thought he had an excellent match and handled the pitch invasions very well - keeping everyone calm.

 

I hope Walsall win 2-0 and their fans do a Blackpool and then Chesterfield do a City in the second leg.

Not sure. Walsall trying to "Forest Green" their way through the second half although Chesterfield still showing some threat but need to worl the keeper more.

Wonder when Walsall will replace all their forwards with defenders or is it just us that does that?

 

We do it, in unique circumstances when we have a sickness bug and so they are they only fit players available

 

I'm trying to work out when all this Walsall dislike started. And unclear when we started having Chesterfield as our second favourite side.

 

Chesterfield aren't my second favourite side, just don't like how bloody smug Walsall got before it unravelled.

 

Lbh we had our own fans thinking we would piss the league once we went top. Walsall fans were just the same but it Comes back to bite you on the arse

 

All their fans? Or just a few idiots? I listened to at least 60 podcasts covering the second half of the season and rarely were there any of their fans been smug. And those that were got told off by their own fans.

I hope they or Wimbledon do it - not least because they'll likely struggle.

 

Let's not forget we had fans singing we're going to win the league during the Cheltenham match and some planning how we were going to celebrate the title at Doncaster, every fanbase has some who get carried away when doing well.
For me I couldn't care what their fans were like, I'm more bothered about what will happen on the pitch next season. Out of the 4 teams in the play offs I want Walsall to go up as I think they will be the weakest and have the lowest budget.

 

Fully agree. Or Wimbledon as I can't seen their's been any better than Walsall's.

 

I think Wimbledon have got a better structure behind the scenes, I can see some of Walsall's better players being picked off similar to what happened to Crawley this season. I also have a question over Sadler and how their team has collapsed for the 2nd season in a row as last season they only got 11 points from the last 11 and 3 from the last 5 ending up finishing 11th after being 6th going into these games.

 

I'll be forever grateful to them. If they hadn't completely capitulated in the second half of the season we wouldn't be where we are today.

 

Fair play to Walsall that’s a great response after last week. I’d also rather be competing with them next season of the 4 playoff teams. Taylor Allen is one I’d like us to look at if they don’t make it and Jodi Jones at Notts if they dont

 

Took their chances. Could have got a third.

Chesterfield were a bit like how we've been at times, lots of action in and around the penalty box but not many good crosses or shots on target. The Walsall keeper made a couple of good saves but the Chesterfield keeper needed to as well.

 

This Wycombe v Charlton match reminds me of Harrogate v Morecambe - with not as much skill on display
