I wasn't really debating whether it was a red or not, it was Smiths reaction that wound me up

I hope Chesterfield come up via the playoffs. Good supporters and we have a decent record against them, home and away.
Wimbledon are a horrible lot to play against.
Notts County have become a bogey side in recent years.
Walsall, what can you say, they were celebrating promotion in January, so bollocks to them.

Red card very much like smallwoods tackle then coupled with Baldwins head loss afterwards. Mcgoldrick went off injured too, my word Notts county are doing what city usually do in important games!

I don't know what you'd call this but he will be lucky if he doesn't get another charge for this and then he seemed to push another player's face into the ground after. Even if he manages to overturn the ban for the red card there's no way he gets away without being banned for this.

Yes of course, “ out of control” .

My comment was more aimed at the Wombles player who was acting like he’d been hit by a bus!

Jatta was proposed by some as the sort of forward we should sign. I wasn't impressed with him in our home match, he didn't seem that bothered. It now appears he has a suspect temperament and was a bit too bothered in yesterday's play off match.. Not sure he would be for us.

Two games don't make a season. It's his first red of his career, so it's a bit of a jump to assume he's got a temperament issue too. But since coming to England he has scored a goal every 152 mins, there will be plenty of teams asking about him in the summer.

Not certain he has the correct character and, if you look at his last few matches, he tends to both go missing in matches and has very poor body language. Compare him to McGoldrick and you can see the difference in attitude.

Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole. Moody, sulks and as he proved last night, loses his head etc.

The amount of average strikers we've made look good over the years is numerous and he's one of them.

Totally agree. He's the polar opposite of the great attitude the current squad have. For instance I don't see him supporting Sarc after that miss and inspiring him to keep going like Kav did.

I was asking my Terrier supporting friend about Josh Koroma who always seems to score for them or gets most of thier goals and he said his attitude is terrible and most fans are pleased they've let him go.

You can't just go on the scoring figures.

I think his attitude seemed fine first half of the season but like Lewis with us he's had his head turned and once that happens, there's no turning back.

100% ..Hence my brain transplant comment re him and Baldwin.

Better players than him have been “ educated” .

Whilst you have a good point about 'education, which the likes of GA, Parky, Wellens and Challinor appear to be excellent at, for L1/L2 - I never got the impression that Baldwin, during his Notts days, had an attitude problem. His is more he sometimes gets too over-excited not a poor attitude.

Jatta's simply disappeared in the last few matches which were crucial to Notts. And you get the impression he thinks it's always someone else's fault - when frankly, he's lacked that vital composure.

The referee in the Notts County game should be demoted to water boy at Goals. The occasion was too much for him

He is still better than all our other strikers aside from Cook on the books. Judging him off a couple of games doesn’t give the overall picture of a player

He has that exasperated 'it's not my fault it's everyone else's' attitude - that we made the error of 'buying' for the five seasons before Hughes came along.

I don't see him as a team player (note that County fans have commented on it over the last few weeks)

It's the old argument we had with the likes of Young as to whether you tolerate anything if the player is vastly superior. However, if you look at the good other managers (and this includes the likes of Pep) they all take attitude and ability over poor attitude and better ability.

He’s been like that since Jan ( according to their forum) as they turned down £1/2m bid from Plymouth . He’s “ sulked” ever since . They may live to regret it ?
