Public limited company, quoted on the stock market. Unless it creates a monopoly what relevance has it got to the Government ? Anyone with the money can buy them and the Govt can't/ shouldn't be able to stop them. Its a free market.

 

T&A is part of Newquest and not based in Bradford, there's pretty much only the journos left here. Not even printed in Bradford anymore.

 

If you read post earlier, I referred to the markets dictating events. Have never heard of the monopolies and mergers commission , THAT relevance.

 

I did a job there a few years back and the sparky showed me round the place. Bit dodgy how they got rid of all the scrap like the rollers and machines, they were even going to cut the sprinklers down with a stihl saw until the sparky told them it was connected to the rest of the building and would have flooded the place. Still has old air raid warning leaflets in the stair well.

I've been banging on for weeks about Astonish. They definitely should have sponsored the seat cleaning day. Suprised they weren't contacted. Their products are even over here in Estonia - I purchase not just out of loyalty, but because they are decent cleaning products.
