If City normally charge £24 and say get 2,000 POTD, then they would need 4,800 paying £10 to recover the revenue. It is a loss leader. The only other attraction they could use for POTD supporters, is to offer an incentive that if City were to get into the Play Offs, then after Season Ticket holders, there would be an opportunity to purchase before general sale.

Pointless. The 1000’s of people that don’t turn up have already paid.

This gives the manager and lads a couple of weeks to reset, recharge and hopefully learn about the recent losses. It also takes a little bit of stung out of Plymouths momentum.

Next up is Northampton. A truly dreadful team on a dreadful run. We need to hammer these.

@Keefly Bantam@Keefly Bantam dont forget your burns unit bet fella. You were adamant these were a decent side who wouldnt be anywhere near relegation and that we did well to get a point at their ground.

They looked relegation fodder all day long that day ...........i mean credit to them for actually being in the hunt for staying up because i thought they would have more or less been relegated by now

In this day and age where clubs are struggling for money do we need these pointless games stopping weekend games at the bottom 2 levels ...........how many thousands in lost revenue does it cost each club everytime it happens ??????

Not to mention the loss to local pubs, cafes etc due to far lower crowds of home and away fans.

One thing that is clearly noticed for night games is that there is a significant drop in the number of families and children there.

The Stockport and the Rotherham games were a week apart but because one was in the school holidays and one was in school term time the difference was clear to see. This is for already paid for tickets and people attending the game.

The Plymouth game this weekend with Plymouth doing well and pushing for the play offs would have been well attended with all families like to be there. Now looking at the date is might be played there is likely to be a drop because of it like to be on the TV with it now a Tuesday and with it being during school time thousands off the crowd all for a few kick about friendlies that no one gives a toss about. I didn't even know who England were playing this weekend, and the fact there is no Premier League game for teams like Man Utd from the 20th March until the 13th April is purely bonkers.

Yes they looked absolutely shite and I said at the time it was 2pts dropped. And tbf they have taken 2pts from their last 30pts avilable and sit 7pts adrift....so they are pretty much done now.

I guess we will find out today that this game is being played at 12.30 no doubt or do they have the right to delay picking games for the second to last week to see how the table is panning out. Wasn't Donny a late move last season?

    Looking at that week

    Blackpool versus Leyton Orient
    Bradford City versus Bolton Wanderers
    Burton Albion versus Exeter City
    Cardiff City versus Northampton Town
    Doncaster Rovers versus Stevenage
    Huddersfield Town versus Mansfield Town
    Lincoln City versus Wycombe Wanderers
    Luton Town versus Barnsley
    Plymouth Argyle versus Port Vale
    Rotherham United versus Reading
    Stockport County versus Peterborough United
    Wigan Athletic versus AFC Wimbledon

Bradford v Bolton is a shoe in for the TV game, beyond that possibly Lincoln home to play off chasing Wycombe when Lincoln will be crowned champions and possibly Burton v Exeter from the other end of the league. The rest are either mid table or miss matches of play off teams playing relegation fodder.

End of season Dinner and Awards moved to Tuesday 28th April now ,makes sense after the new date for our re scheduled game against Plymouth was announced.
