I was willing to give the owners a chance and in some way the benefit of doubt, they sounded like we finally had someone with money to invest and take the club to the next level. However it seems clear now that Edin is on a massive ego trip. He will not accept the advice from others within the club and those in the wider football world and will not alter his plan or ways of working. The problem is his experience of running a football club is zero. It is clear to see he has to make everything single decision. Communication, what players to sign, etc etc. All via him. In business you have to let your business managers manage and not have them checking with you at every turn. If you don’t why have them? That’s why no manager will touch us, senior club staff have walked, and will continue to do so in the future, players will not sign up. The bonus wage structure doesn’t work, sounds good but will not work.

Edin is driving our club onto the rocks and everyone is telling him to stop, but he will not listen. I no longer trust him and feel that while his heart may be in this business, he has dreamed about owning a football club for so long, now he has his hands on one, he will not listen to advice or reason from others. May be he sees it as a weakness to accept advice as “he knows football”. While he can walk away and head back to Germany if it doesn’t work out, we are the ones left with the knackered wreckage of a football club when he does.

Dark days ahead, unless he changes quickly or he sells up....

Never thought I was say this but I missed Mark Lawn....

Yes I so miss Mark Lawn, especially the bit where 10 months after reaching a league cup final we sell our best playing asset to our local rivals. Just eight months later we are so skint that Parkinson could only sign the likes of Morais and Williams on monthly contracts unless we had a cup run. Fortunately we played Leeds and it was televised so said contracts were extended to January. Even when we played Millwall in 3rd round of cup the charming MrLawn said no chance of keeping them on unless we got past Millwall. Fortunately we got through and beat Chelsea and signed them permanently. Cup runs saved Lawn and Rhodes from worse criticism than Edin gets. Cup runs that have not happened in last three years.

The missing Mark Lawn bit was tongue in cheek... oh for owners who invest & want to take the club forward without any BS.

You seriously think that wouldn't happen under Rahic? As long as the ££ is enough, he won't care who's paying it.

Or how about when he told McCall not to play Brandon in his first spell because we couldn’t afford the extension?

    And people say Rahic interferes

Owners who also sacrificed the infrastructure of the club desperate to gain promotion.

If we get to the championship hopefully we will have a sound footing and without a doubt the budget will increase with more tv money and bigger gate receipts. We cannot run at a deficit every season in the hope we get promoted

Indeed, the new owners are getting a lot right.

In that recent interview Edin talked the talk quite well. He now needs to walk the walk.

Yes but you also can’t run a team with an egomaniac who wants to control everything from which players are brought in to what colour toilet paper is in the bogs in the Bantams Bar. Worry is that the word is out on Edin and his ways hence why we are no nearer to finding a head coach/manager.

Edin needs to concentrate on building the foundations for the championship and let a first team manager manage the team & players.

6,000 fans down, sponsorship deals lost, a managers position that no one wants, senior long term members of staff leaving, don’t tell me everything is rosey at VP.

Did you ever see the interview with McCall, Taylor and Windass on one of the sport based TV programmes on a Sunday lunchtime? I forget who the interviewer was.

The wide ranging discussion had moved on to the involvement of chairmen in footballing matters. McCall made some oblique reference to this incident but I don't think he mentioned Brandon by name. Taylor however explained how he dealt with one of the chairmen (the same one who McCall had referred to) who insisted on seeing the team sheet prior to the game so that he had the opportunity to tweak it and ensure his favourites were in the starting XI. PT said he would take the team sheet to the chairman at about 2.30 for his boss to agree it. If any questions were raised about why X wasn't in the team, Taylor's response was a simple one. Sorry but I can't do anything about it; the team sheet has already been given to the ref!

The involvement of the chairman in footballing matters isn't something started by Rahic and I doubt very much that it is unique to our club.

According to latest season ticket sales, we are not 6,000 fans down. Where is the proof sponsorship deals have been lost? Where is the proof nobody wants the managers/head coach position? Members of staff come and go in business all the time, that's no great surprise. And most importantly of all, where is the proof Edin is choosing the colour of toilet paper in the bogs?

Who said it was? I’ve said they’ve made mistakes but they are still raw and new to this role.

As for some of your claims. 6000 fans down? What a load of rubbish. No where near that high last season.

Senior long term staff members who were on the take from the club? Good riddance.

How do you know no one wants it? We will make an announcement next week.

I highly doubt Edin picks the signings as you claim he does. When would he get time to find these players with all his micro managing?

If the price is right and contract is running down then you have to sell, and I would sell Wyke if he won't extend his contract. The point I am making about selling Wells is despite a league cup final appearance after just 10 months we were desperate to sell Wells as we were once again hard up under Lawn and Rhodes. I think the Germans are trying to get the infrastructure right and not build on sand as previous owners did and indeed Richmond did.

That’s right people liked the extra money spent some years by the last owners. But didn’t like it quite as much when the books needed balancing remember the deficit so many moaned about, and the trialist having to play to make up a team.

You do realise without the extra money Lawn and Rhodes gave Parky we would more than likely still be stuck in league 2.

No matter how blatantly obvious it is that we’re a mess, there are some people you can still serve shit on plate to and call it chocolate.

Widespread talk of McCall not being able to work with Rahic ——> ‘where’s your proof??!’

McCall leaves and admits it —-> ‘he’s just bitter’

Recruitment is clearly poor ——> ‘just give them a chance’

Results are crap and players look disinterested ——> ‘what problem? We were 6th at Christmas’

Grayson arrives but only accepts a short term contract —-> statement of intent and gives US a chance to see if we want him.

We do, but he fecks off anyway because he’s seen how tinpot we are —-> ‘didn’t want him anyway. Crap football and doesn’t fit the model’

Growing numbers of supporters voice concern over the management and direction of the club —-> ‘keyboard warriors. Just get behind the lads FFS’

Thousands of supporters don’t renew STs —> ‘plastics. I was there when we had 3k against Hereford and it was better with just the hardcore’

Reporters reporting on disenfranchisement behind the scenes —-> ‘name your sources’!!

Taking nearly two months to find a Head Coach ——> ‘due diligence innit’

Probably more likely that he was the guy in charge of white star line demanding more speed to break the record
