Someone’s making a killing somewhere. That 5p a litre off tax was soon put back on, and then some.

Meanwhile, a bottle of water is more expensive than a full tank of petrol in the Middle East.

I noticed that recently unleaded has suddenly cost more than diesel.

A few weeks ago unleaded was 15p a litre cheaper now its about 3p more.

Yeah, over 183p today I think it was, but we do get a slight reduction where we are as there’s no alternative, no real public transport etc.

Most of Europe give a rebate on fuel costs to Hauliers to help keep the cost of deliveries and prices down, A rebate of 15p a litre has been suggested by the industry claiming it would help the economy and also mentioning the extra £26 Billion the government is collecting in fuel taxes due to the price rise so would be affordable

I'm all for helping hauliers and the like but once again as with the petrol stations and the 5p reduction in petrol will they pass any savings on to the customer, we saw with furlough there is always someone who wants to pull a fast one.
