Think a few on here are mixing up Negativey and Realism
The fans need to be given something to feel positive about a lot could have been made of the signing of the manager whose is charged with keeping us up James Mason would have been in his Element and that's what's still missing Even now Mr Rahic is no longer in the building (but still a shareholder) the fans are being kept in the dark as to future plans.
I imagine season ticket sales are low and no wonder if the powers that be can't be bothered to turn up at a press conference to announce our new manager and create a bit of interest to boost sales

 

Well yeah 5 doesn’t have to be negative but it is there to defend when you need to defend and attack when we have the ball.

 

It is a badly flawed formation that fails to create chances and leaks goals, Usually ends up with a CB exposed and then picking the ball out of the net

 

With no wingers it’s a better option than the plunder our way down the middle we played before

 

Using your fullbacks/ wingbacks as wingers when needed is even worse, The ball will be played in to the space behind them drawing your central defenders out of position to cover and crosses will flow in to your box to an undefended attacker

 

Someone like an akpan has to know to step into the back 3 when needed to cover. No formation provides 100% cover.
