OConnor, doesn’t give a stuff. One near ever present through 3 seasons of shite.

 

Pointless thread - they’re all included and at the top of the pile, the management.

Of this squad I would keep just wood, Staunton, watt and Novak. Hosannah would be on the list but he isn’t ours. The fact I only want to keep 4 players out of a squad of over 20 is quite telling of our plight. Maybe Cooke And Clarke as backup.

You've got it in one mate. McCall was always the 'man'. The guy who always got us feeling good about being City fans. Now? Like you - and many, many others of us, I'm sure - feeling shit about not just the total mess we're in, but that it's Stuart who is stewarding us here. I hate myself for hating this!

 

And that he appears to be so in denial about the deep shit we're in.

 

There are too many who accept defeat and it has become a way of life.
Four players from our relegation from League 1 are still at the club and for me should be shipped out to free the rest of the bad eggs syndrome.
Paudie O'Connor, Antony O'Connor, Richard O'Donnell and Connor Wood.
Some may disagree but these are the ones with a losing mentality and simply accept it/expect to lose.

 

T'was a great header from Paudie, but that's his first decent touch in 50 appearances..

 

There is nothing we can do in January to fix this awful squad, January will come and go and Stuart will make more excuses. Whole thing is beyond a joke now.

Season is a write off and we are probably going down.

 

He's not alone. O'Connor of the Paudie variety on Radio Leeds before the kick off saying that the club wasn't in a fight against relegation. The blinkers are most definitely on, the league doesn't lie, especially a fortnight before Christmas. I could accept such opinions if we were talking very early season form, but not at this time of year.

I don't hate him, could never hate him but just think he needs to go and go now to give new guy time to line up players for January window.

 

The real worry is that we can only play for 60 minutes or so per match right now. We concede a goal, and don't have enough steel to bounce back. And most definitely, don't have enough quality at the other end to score goals. The sad irony is our incompetence will only be saved not by our own efforts, but by a couple of clubs who are worse than we are.

 

If he wants to stay or have a decent career Paudie needs to win more headers like that, on a regular basis at BOTH ends. He's young enough to improve. He should be looking to dominate the player he is marking.
