VAR would have seen us get at least one penalty in that second leg v Bolton too

 

If the money was there I think VAR would be used in the semi finals as well along with goal line technology. When there is so much on the games and the technology is there to be used then why not use it. If VAR was used in the final against Millwall and it showed Steve Morrison was offside I doubt anyone on here would be complaining about it just like Bolton won't be today or Sunderland last season.

No more than Stockport deserve I thought the foul was harsh, it certainly wasn't intentional.

Defender just walked out to the crosser. Didn't even try and stop him from crossing!

 

You play to the whistle and he did just that, the foul was harsh both going for the ball, VAR are taking common sense out of the game for referees.

 

I'd have thought @Loyalbantam would have noticed the empty seats, two tin pot clubs.

Better than yesterday's match

Does feel like Bolton stopped playing after going ahead. Not been as good as they were against us.

 

It would be interesting with modern technology to see that "foul" up closer, it certainly wouldn't be the first time a player chasing back clipped his own foot.

 

Outside of their right back and Rodrigues, Bolton aren't having a great game. Wingers aren't getting into the game at all

 

Agree. They've not really played at all. Maybe that's Stockport pushing themselves on the game. I think they'll be happy coming from behind to be level at HT.

 

They did do a zoom in on sky sports but have only shown it once or twice. Hard to tell from the "normal" camera

 

Stockports average crowd is below 10.000,Boltons more than double that,so it's not surprising Be interesting to see how many Salford bring tomorrow.
