Wycombe in particular is the worrying one as it stands, the water is not only rising, there's a good amount of it...

6 points a must in the 2 home games against Northampton and Stevenage. Stevenage are as poor as us away with 7 defeats in their last 9 away games.

Stockport have a game in hand on us as well and Stevenage have 2. Both can overtake us if they win those games so Friday is definitely a must win now if we want to avoid squeeky bum time.

Stevenage have by far the easiest Easter period out of the play off chasing sides with Rotherham (A) and Blackpool (H) then they've got 3 very tough games starting with match against us followed by Bolton (A) on the Tuesday and Lincoln (H). If we go into that Stevenage game still 5 points ahead of them then it likely means we've had a good Easter.

The good thing for Friday is that Northampton have to win if they are to have any chance of pulling off a miracle escape. It's a cliche but the first goal will be massive

Not overly concerned about other results. Truth is I wouldn’t want us falling into the playoffs in poor form because others are constantly losing. I want us to earn a spot by winning then I’ll be happy with getting a place in the playoffs and being in good form.

Lincoln will be up by then, teams tend to ease off considerably once that happens, so be good time for them to play Lincoln in my opinion

Agree completely. We have got so far with our own results and we now need to get back up to scratch. Any info on Sarcs and Jackson?

It’s going to be decided by our home form and with Plymouth, Stevenage, and Bolton to play it isn’t going to be easy. There is one thing for certain the Northampton game is a must win if ever there was one.

We'll beat Northampton, then we're looking for 2 more wins?

We should get them, but remember what hard work we made of 3rd place last season... we should have had that sewn up with games to spare.

We cant contol what other teams around us do but stateing the obvious its down to what we produce out there on the pitch that will seal our fate.
Nothing short of 100% performances, no half hearted displays will do and the team and managment know it.
Lets finish the job in hand before we visit Exeter City.

If we had to lose one of the remaining home games, then Northampton is the one to lose,as it would mean we would not lose points to any of our rivals in our remaining home games.Strange, but true.

All of the chasing pack who won today won easily,no scraped one goal wins, which may mean they have hit form at the right time. Not good news for us.

Northampton is deffo not the one tp lose because we lose that it puts in real danger of losing out and could have a mass negative affect on on our season.

Fallshandy that the chasing pack and the teams around us are facing each other.
    Plymouth v Bolton
    Stockport v Wycombe
    Town v Reading
    Rotherham v Stevenage
    Luton v Peterborough

On that a fair few teams are gonna drop points given us a huge chance to creat a decent cushion ideal world win for Bolton,Reading and Stockport creates a decent gap to the teams chasing us ............Rotherham deffo need the win ..........out of the lot on paper Luton have the easier task but even if they win and we do our job then its still 10 points.

We simply have to win Friday anything rlse could put us in bother

Given our current away form, then we will lose all of them, or at best get one surprising win. If we drew the other games at home, so not lose, that would mean a total of six points (with a surprise away win), or more likely three, and I anticipate we will certainly drop out of the Play Off’s, which sadly I also think is true.
No we need to show intent, and beat Northampton!

We weren't playing and other teams were. Hardly surprising therefore that some teams won and closed the gap a bit. Strange that this seems to trigger hysteria, suddenly we're in must win teritory and the game against Northampton elevates to monumental proportions. It's another game with 3 points up for grabs that we're quite capable of winning. It's also a Tranmere'esque fixture from last season we could quite easily lose. It's not the be all and end all. Plenty of points up for grabs after this one and yes I do think we'll win away again this season.

Lose to the Cobblers and confidence will be shot, not to mention the cushion to 7th smaller still. I wouldnt then fancy having to go to Wycombe 3 days later needing a win to stay in the playoffs.

3 points on Friday is crucial.

If we were to drop out of the top 6, I couldnt see us getting back.
