I can't disagree with that @Fordy117, if the chance of moving up a league is there you take it.

 

Millwall who were lucky to even reach the play offs kept the nucleous of a winning side and added to it with youth and experience
Sheffield Utd Always looked comfortable but still kept their star men who were too good for L1 but had no intention of selling them
Bolton a basket case club have a manager backed by his chairman and was good enough to keep them up despite the adversities
Anyone see a pattern emerging here

You would have been wise Parky nearly always wins the one that matters. The guy is a miracle worker his best player sold from under him inJanuary the club sold if 12 Million worth of players in total with very little coming the other way. Brilliant

 

In fairness to Parky, he builds teams that give 100% and keep going until the very end. Proved that today with Bolton’s win. Great result for him and Bolton to stay up given their finances and player sales in January.

Exactly. Parkinson IS a Championship manager - fact. How many of us would have swapped places today with City winning in the final minutes to stay up in the Championship with Parky in the dugout.

and that makes him what? Shit? That's 4 more than the Ginger 'God' achieved. I'd sooner City play Parky's brand of football consistently in the Championship than be a free-flowing footy side that forever ends the season behind the giants of the game such as Plymouth and Southend.
