    A7EC2772-F20B-4390-98AD-C4112B0C504B.png Swansea rumoured to want £20m for Oliver McBurnie which would net CIty £3m if the sell on is 15%.

    However on Twitter Oliver has just said that the sell on is 0% !!! And I don’t think he is joking !!

    I manage athletes, and believe me I doubt any of them know their contracts inside out.

    One didn't know whether he could walk out of his previous agency agreenent, the contract was only about three pages long with twenty or so clauses, one of which simply stated 'the athlete can terminate this agreement at any time by giving written notice'.

    No, I'm not joking.

    Bottom line, someone is completely wrong.

    Apart from maybe not knowing his contract, it isn’t even his contract we are discussing. It is a private agreement between two clubs, neither of which is owned by Oli.

    Hasn't it been put out publicly that any sell on that McBurnie gives us will go back to Rupp or am I imagining things?

    Can't remember if it was in the T&A as well but definitely was in WOTP https://widthofapost.com/2019/05/22/open-dialogue/
    "The big one is Oli McBurnie, which the club retain a 15% sell-on fee for. Ryan said he has seen the paperwork that confirms the sell-on fee exists, despite the Sun’s Alan Nixon recently claiming otherwise. Any McBurnie windfall will help to plug the debts."

    So although not technically public it was a good as a public comment from the club as he will have known WOTP will have been doing a bit on it.
