That's a bit of a come down from 4 million.

Why would you think that, he had 16 appearances in his final season at Valley Parade, not bad for a 17/18 years old he was not good enough to start as his debut suggested against Rotherham (maybe an unfair comment) but Parky had no one else to play target man, but bringing him on as sub he was learning the game, so sorry @Silverbantam I cant agree with that comment, but letting him go to Swansea was good business for both club and player.

Your version has been contradicted by the media and I believe by Wetherby whaler on Claret and Banter a while ago, who was on the board at City at the time of the sale.

I'm guessing you know him personally, but most players aren't privy to the finer details of the sale contract between the clubs, he will have only have seen the player contract which will be a separate legal and confidential document.
