I think, in a far more eloquent and accurate way, that’s what I was thinking

They must have changed them then as they didn’t previously

Or not after reading the rest of posts. Looks like Type C that Prof owned had no voting rights

No, the difference in share rights was laid out right from when Mark Lawn joined but, thereafter, they usually just referred to them all as Ordinary shares, without highlighting the differences between them.

Easy to miss, if you weren't aware and, therefore, where to look.

They haven't changed despite what the 2015 Annual Return says. 'C' shares have no voting rights. Have a look at the Articles of Association as posted by @StaffordBantam@StaffordBantam The AofA take precedence over other documents. I've also just looked online at the latest Annual Return for BC Bantams in 2016 and it also confirms that 'C' shares have no voting rights.

But it's all academic in any event. The only thing that matters is how shareholdings and shareholder rights are defined within the ultimate owner - ERSportGroup GmbH

Wouldn’t the fact that City are owned by ERSortsGroup be a protection for Rahic, as it would equally shared and therefore it would need both of them to agree any action that would put Rahic in a weaker position?

Short of seeing the company's Satzung or the shareholder agreement between the two of them, I doubt that ownership of ERSportsGroup would be shared 50:50. And I doubt we'll ever understand properly how voting rights are shared. But as I said earlier, I'd expect either of those two documents to be clear on how a minority shareholder is protected in the event of the majority shareholder wanting out.

I didn’t say you had blamed him. I said you were slating him because the current owners weren’t backing up their promises.

You have continually criticised Lawn for stating he and Rhodes had sold up to a couple of businessmen that had the funds to take us forward, something they couldn’t do. Whether you agree with that, as a reason for them selling up, or not, it is unfair to continually hammer Lawn now that the new owners aren’t delivering on those promises

I assume that it is possible that there could be other share holders of ERSportsGroup?

And as I've said I'm not hammering him for not keeping the promises of someone else, I'm slating him for bragging that he was doing the club a massive favour and would only ever sell to the right people. Clearly he was wrong.

It's possible but highly unlikely based on what I've read so far.

One final point @BoingBoing@BoingBoing then I'm done with this thread as we're going around in circles and it doesn't look like Lawn is even involved, as promised apologies to the board and myself for even bringing him up.

You seem to think I have an axe to grind with Lawn, I don't in fact I remember defending him on C & B for about 15 pages arguing with Clayton. He helped us out with the loan when we needed it and obviously brought Parkinson in and backed him as well as he could, the rest as they say is history. My gripe is he talked a big game regarding the takeover, in fact he bigged it up more than the new owners, I believed him as others did obviously it was nonsense. I just don't get why some seem almost desperate to have the man back, it's almost like Doyle with Sattlemeir and anyone but Law, the grass isn't always greener. People have short memories he nearly sent us to non league with the Archie Christie development squad experiment (sound familiar?), and wouldn't have had anywhere near the success imo if it wasn't for hiring Parkinson, this time Parkinson won't be back to save us.

If someone else does takeover I just hope the have the funds to invest in the summer, as it's needed after this shit storm.

Wasn't the scenario you are describing above, the same one we were told to expect by Lawn/Rhodes when they sold out to R/R?

First part indeed. But I think that if our present owners can't finance as anticipated, for whatever reason, the Club's continued progression, then we need the security of a party who could meet that criteria. My point being that at present we need more intent, certainly on the recruitment side to acquire progress through quality. Which needs a sympathetic budget.

I take it by 'sympathetic' ...... You really mean competitive - but realistic within our financial capacity..........
That is to say, anything above a bottom half (league 1 positioning) Budget situation ? ;)

Although I agree, WB ........... Let's face it ........ WOAP (at the time) ran a fantastic article on the Archie Christie affair - which had us all believing. I can forgive ML for getting sucked in to that - I was !! ;)
Secondly: Our Budget this year, though not great, was also far from poor .......... Just very mismanaged, and it was too late to correct it, once realised (Other well documented circumstances taken into consideration).
But yes - A major re-think is required, to achieve our goals. :)

Without a doubt, Phil ! I'd love to see a top six Budget ......... Which if used wisely, could realistically see City challenging for a top 2 finish next campaign. :)
