    Apologies to put this here but I can't reply to the post that Karl did on Forum Etiquette.

    Could you define bickering? Also Karl said that posters will be banned from threads without warning. Without a clear explanation of what you define as bickering, how is one to know when one is guilty or nearing the line?

    This is a discussion forum. People discuss things. Conversations be they online or offline go off on tangents. People disagree. It's the nature of discussion. It's interesting and somewhat entertaining.

    If you just want rumours and no chat then twitter is the place for that. 280 character limit. Short messages, straight to the point. No need to see discussion if you don't click the thread below the tweet.

    90% of bickering on here is off topic and usually by the same posters derailing a thread

    If the posts are related to the thread subject they will more than likely be left

    We are getting messages from members saying they are sick of the same few guys acting like children

    @king karl@king karl ...... I doubt many are disputing the 'bickering' aspect. However, such is Football, and all it's foibles both on and off the pitch ....... I think it's only fair to suggest that threads can, and often do become 'entwined', as many actions affect others, which already have a dedicated thread. This is nothing new, and should arrive as no great surprise.
    BUT .......... It's when one thread starts to dominate another, that a problem occurs. As in THIS instance.

    No one can say the moderation here is heavy handed

    From day one I said I wanted the forum to be self moderating and that's how it's mostly been

    In the main everyone has been spot on

    Posts do go off topic we accept this but when you get the same folk just on the wind up it gets boring real quick

    Don’t have a problem with banter, or even when a debate gets heated verging on an argument. The only thing that fecks me off on here, is if someone makes the same point over and over again because they’re desperate for the last word. Most stuff isn’t that interesting the first time, never mind the 10th.
