Off-Season Update: Ryan Sparks (26 June 2021)

so using the figures from the reports, flexicards brought in nearly £85000 with no further atttendance. This year, the number who bought full tickets brings in about £150000. To offset the the number of match day tickets bought using flexicards, the remaining 55% who haven't yet bought a season ticket will need to pay full price to get to see us storm to promotion. All seems pretty good to me.

 

Where is the "Fordster" not heard from him for a while

Peel back the surface and ask a former player about them if you can.

We get access to very little of those facilities, and a small portion of the land area. There's nothing in place there that takes training to the next level with regards the science and data collection the big teams rely on, nor do we have the staff to sift through it even if we had access to it.

We have a field at a school that is prone to flooding.

Several players and managers that have been through our system and/or represented our club have said the facilities are basic and unextraordinary and been quite open about it.

The 'envy' of L1 and L2 teams? Why, because the grass is well kept?

Depends on the interpretation I suppose. If we're broke though the serious financial problems will probably go hand in hand.

I'm certainly not arguing that it's the case with us though.

 

With regards to the article itself I wonder who the returning familiar face might be, I like the reference to 'sing'-guessing its that player whose name begins Song....... and the fact that the hand dryers in the bogs might work next season

So does anyone know what/who Sparks means by this comment in his statement;

The now distinctly overhyped Songo'o, surely. No idea why it's taken four weeks since the rumours began to break, but never mind - a good, solid signing and one I thought we might miss out on given we signed another DCM.
