Trust me SB, the current situation at VP is not on Hughes. He has a job in assessing this squad and bringing new players in to compliment. Because not all this squad is on its way.

 

Is not the spend it’s recruiting the right players. How many teams have played us off the grass the last few seasons , yet haven’t spent half our budget on recruitment and salaries . Let’s be honest the current squad is crap, generally, yet we have one of the leagues biggest budgets. The correlation of “spend lots equals good squad” was blown out of the water years ago.

I can pay good money , over the odds perhaps on a car, does it mean it will pass its next MOT?

Great little boozer we stopped in though!! Stewards a bit over zealous yesterday. Closed the bar at ten to three and didn't re-open it and stopped Manny from selling City Gents as well...

 

He was selling them at the turnstile leaving the ground so maybe they had a change of heart.

 

It wasn't the Sun Inn at Kislingbury was it? My mate and I were there. I was able to park up outside and got a ride to the ground on the Corn Dolly coach. Nearly froze our knackers off waiting for a bus back afterwards mind.

 

Good lad is Andy, always good crack on the Dolly coach although I cant sink it as I used to.
