    Important match for Northampton,they looked good for a top three spot,but Port Vale have now overtaken them,so they will be looking to get back on track against a poor City side,for whom the end of the season can't come soon enough.

    Not long until the season’s over. Can’t say that bothered re tomorrow. Most of players, hopefully, won’t be in starting XI next year. Decided not to bother Good Friday either. Jeez, we better see some decent recruitment this summer. One more season like this and it will be hard to keep dragging myself to VP.

    My last 'Away Day' of the season tomorrow (think it's 11 for the season). Corn Dolly trip. New ground. As usual over the last few seasons, probably a really good day spoiled by the football!!

    This will be a big match for the players out of contact. They can't afford another poor performance like last week so a lot to play for in terms of the individual players.

    I'm going. Staying with my mate Tim (ex-Bradford Uni) in Bedford and going to the game after a mosey in several Northampton shoes factory shops.
    Can't see us getting anything from this game tbh but it's a good day out

    I just want us to pass the ball and keep playing even if we win, lose or draw. We need to remove that desperation we seem to have when going behind. Let's practise playing our own possession-based game and not get dragged into long balls.
