We brought in roughly the same as we spent so why would we need to heavily slash the wage bill to fund the transfers?

 

So the club wasn't relying on cup runs (like previous regimes) and wasn't operating at a loss. Wisdom, Delph, Wells, Cup runs etc.............I can't remember us shelling out on players previously - can you?

Also - I only remember Hanson and Clarke being sold for fee's. We received (and continue to receive) small instalments when Wisdom and Wells moved on.

 

Think that is the one area where Edin has excelled

 

It wouldn't surprise me if we have unofficially put him on the transfer list or at least told him if an offer comes in which matches his value they'll let him go
