I’m actually a big fan of Law. Fans are obsessed with goal stats and miss what someone like Law brings to the team.
He keeps possession, whether it’s a sideways pass or not, I’d rather that than just a hoof into no mans land. He does need to be a bit more selfish at times when he gets near the box but he’s definitely not a bad player.
I can understand why Grayson isn’t a fan as he prefers physical players to technical.

Slightly different situations with each of those players due to their contracts. Law's is up for renewal whereas Grayson (should he decide to stay) knows that Reeves and Bruenker are contracted for next season. Reeves has another two years on his deal so, unless we have a buyer, we have to try and work with him. But if Grayson has his own players in mind, then whether you rate Law or not, he is the one at threat most.

Law is a talented player but suffers from the fact that he isn't really a winger, isn't defensively good enough to play in a two man central midfield and doesn't score enough to be seen as an attacking midfielder. Out of the four key players that are out of contract in the summer (Doyle, McMahon, Dieng & Law), Law is the one I can least see in a Grayson team.

But saying that, Robinson's injury has opened up a spot on the left for the rest of the season which nobody has really put a claim in for. Could be Law's chance.

Thats not true. there most certainly was/is a consortium. It doesn't mean Rahic/Rupp are at all interested in selling (unfortunately for the club) but there is a party interested in purchasing.

If you are certain there is/was a consortium interested, any names you care to mention who are/were involved?

Today I thought Law showed that he can be a good player for us. Thought he made a big difference in midfield when he came on. Always showing for the ball, drove through the midfield with ball at his feet and have us a bit more purpose in possession.

Our midfield is better for having him in there.

Law made a real difference when he came off the bench today.

Seems like Andy Kwomya rates him just like Jacobs does. Don't know why some City fans can't see what he brings to a game.

    I would definitely keep him.

His comfort on the ball stood out a mile when he came on.

Can't believe no one, apart from Charlie Wyke, gambled on his cross/shot when he came on.

It was strange, after he and Warnock had carved them open on the left, that he then played centrally or on the right for the majority of the game.

He is a decent L1 midfielder.

Had a good game when he came on did Law, changed the way we played and unlucky not to score. Apparently though he's been 'found out' according to one poster on here. Care to retract your bullshit post? You know who you are.

You forget I have watched him all season . Slows play down, can only pass and move sideways and what makes it worse he can do much better

You said he'd been found out. Which was absolute bollocks. He did not slow play down today, we were garbage till he came on, it was painful viewing. Law comes on and we have something to work with in midfield, it also nullified the threat of Callum Camps, who was the best player on the pitch, because it put someone in the acres of free space that Camps had to work with.

That’s utter rubbish. He carried the ball forwards on multiple occasions today. He came very close to scoring/assisting as well after a good run forward. Did you not see this? Did you see today’s game?

Nicky Law is Stuart McCall’s lovechild, that’s the only reason we ever signed him
