Just read the whole article from Grayson and he is right in parts especially the last part where he says the whole club should come together and forget about making the club great again instead concentrate on making it good

Been said many many times, proper recruitment and analysis of both players and managers could have prevented millions being spunked on unsuitable players and downright rubbish. City could have had greater success on three quarters of what they spent. Wright, Akpan, Riley, Anderson, Guthrie, DMH all utterly predictable and I imagine close on a million wasted.

How interested could they really have been?

Makes the rumour that either of us were interested that little bit less believable, don't you think?

Non but does it really matter? As someone with influence in the club I hope you’re concentrating on our obvious floors as we’ve faired even worse since his stint, I’m not bothered what an ex manager says as I imagine most aren’t. Most fans would love to be well above him in the league, but I bet he’d still walk into a job in a club above ours.

‘Bottle’ is reductive. If he provided an assessment of what’s needed and the club has disagreed or refused to back him, why would he stay? I wouldn’t. Any manager with the sort of standing he had at the time, wouldn’t risk their profile by taking on a role whereby the resources needed to be successful weren’t made available.

Not massive on's on though like 1/10.

10/11 at the moment which is still tempting to back. Money clearly going on Hurst but not a flood of money.

Along with the new manager, imo it's equally (if not more vital) that we begin sorting the football structure of the club out to support both Sparks and the new manager.

Before McCall was canned he mentioned a recruitment manager (Or a role of that ilk) was incoming.

We need to put in place the foundations and structure to allow for long term success. As things stand on the football/organisational side it's clearly lacking and has done since Rupp took over.

It's now over to Sparks who strikes me as switched on and ambitious - but as ever the proof is in the pudding and hopefully he is given the tools by Rupp to turn us around.

PP had the market for a while and had him up at 8/5 on Saturday morning but I couldn't find it yesterday when I looked.

I’ve a decent chunk of my bonus on at 4/1 from Saturday morning. Be a belting Christmas if it comes in
