    Very true, our own Phil Parkinson had a terrible time at Hull but it didn’t stop him being a really successful manager for us.

    Hurst odds shortened to 4/5 with SkyBet this morning, not quite nailed on odds yet, so we shall see.

    I would be fine with Hurst, I did want him here previously before his spell at Scunny, I wont hold that disappointing spell against him, I think Scunny were even more a basket case than us then. Hopefully he can rekindle the good work he showed at Grimsby and especially Shewsbury

    No sure. Boring appointment now.

    2-3 years ago great but since then done noting and failed.

    If it's Hurst then fair enough but all just seems boring and cheap.

    actually he didn’t fail at Scunthorpe he was sacked because he was told to reduce the squad of players and by the end of the January transfer window he had increased it by 4. Which seems a strange situation because surely he couldnt sign players without the nod from above.
