Has Turnbull even been appointed? Are we still going down that route?
Just because someone has worked with someone before doesn't mean anything. Did they get on?
Managing a player before means nothing either.

If it is him then why are we waiting to appoint? I think hes on the shortlist and that's it. Wouldn't shock me now if we are waiting to see what happens results wise for some teams this weekend as a manager might become available or want the job.

It’s possible Hurst will be appointed but I just think this is just Parker giving some background on one of the candidates it hasn’t come from the club

His odds with SkyBet have shortened a bit to 5/2, certainly not enough yet to think its nailed on.

Definitely on the shortlist and being interviewed, but by no means certain

I wonder whether City and Plymouth playing cat and mouse with each other over Ryan Lowe?

City anticipating that Plymouth will sack him if they lose again this weekend, we can approach him and appoint with no compensation.

Plymouth knowing perhaps City are interested in him, hang on another week in anticipation of an approach from City, then they wouldn't have to pay Lowe off and also receive compensation from us

We shall see how the next few days can out

He wont be sacked before new year it seems unless they lose every game. He had a recruitment meeting yesterday with the Chairman to set out the January plans, said they already know the 3 maybe 4 players they are making moves for. So sounds like they are going to give him January.

Two players have come out in the press saying the issue is with the squad rather than Lowe, trying to take the blame and maybe hold off on the bullet? Either way, cant see Lowe coming here before it gets to the point when we need someone.

Or like I say we use the media(Parker) to run a story about a manager to get the real manager we want thats at a club to accept our compo offer because they fear we might go to someone else. A bit like what clubs do in transfers.

Lowe would be worth the compo. If he is who we want then Sparks needs to get his man. We need to urgently start putting football first at this club.

THE RHODES DAYS NEED TO BE A THING OF THE PAST!

If we are not appointing an HOR then Sparky has already changed is mind since the Radio Leeds interview last week.
He clearly stated that the recruitment side of the business left a lot to be desired.
Regards Novak I was pointing out he knows someone already employed at the club who would surely be sounded out by Hurst if he was indeed up for the job.
I know nothing more than you at this stage i am just a supporter who trawls the net.
It was suggested that no appointment would happen till after today's game leaving Trueman to the task in hand.

Didnt McCall say he had 3 or 4 players lined up for January a week or so before he was sacked?. Didnt do him any good did it

If that's what's happening, Sparks has just gone up a peg or two in my estimations.

Looks like we are being set up for Hurst. Fair enough if he’s impressed in interview.

we need wingers into the club and quick to get his tactics to work.

The squad never came out to back McCall but the Plymouth squad are backing Lowe, giving another angle to fans. But Lowe had success on his side to cover his slumps, McCall never did.

But no business owner in the world will sack an in demand asset like Lowe is right now. Why sack a man and pay him out, when you know if City really want him, they need to cover 18 months of his contract in a compo deal? Just makes no sense. Especially when he has a promotion under his belt so he has bought himself some recovery time. Plymouth wont bite before City have to appoint someone.

Was told yesterday that Hurst, Heckingbottom and Alexander have all been interviewed. Ryan Lowe still the preferred choice though.

He will in mine if he operates the opposite to Rhodes.

That's why I suggested that City and Plymouth are perhaps playing cat and mouse. They know we want him and also know we cannot wait much longer.

The big question of course, would Lowe be interested in coming to us. I suspect we have sounded out his agent, otherwise waste of time on our part.

    Flitcroft was interviewed on Thursday.

Flynn also turned down the chance to talk. An enquiry was made but he declined before it went any further.

Haven’t heard about Heckingbottom or Alexander. Adkins wage demands put him out of the running almost immediately so I’m told.

Lowe is an odd one. The leaking tap originally thought it was a definite no, but by yesterday thought was a possibility. One things for certain. They won’t pay compensation for a manager who’s on a tight rope.

But Hurst interviewed very well on Wednesday and ticks every box.

Heckingbottom and Hurst were two that I was interested in when Grayson left. Still prefer Lowe, but if it isn't him, toss up between Hecky and Hurst for me, probably slightly favour Hecky, but then again, depends how the interviews went
