    1 - Bury. Spent beyond their means. Went bust. Lots of managers could get promoted that way.
    2 - Plymouth. Didn't get them promoted. Covid did.

    The poll could be changed; however, I'm not sure it's down to Simon Parker to rule them out. His article in the T&A is hardly conclusive. About Graham Alexander, he says:

    Ryan Lowe now 4/7 with Skybet, put a tenner on and you'll only get £15.71 back. Paul Hurst and Sol Campbell have drifted to 6/1. If the odds get any better it's a virtual certainty.

    Who said anything about Simon Parker and conclusive, there are prime candidates it is now missing and therefore should really be changed or it’s a waste of time.

    If it is Lowe we must be going all in.
    We'll have to pay something for him and he aint coming for nowt or a six month contract.
    Would suggest a minium 2 1/2 year deal and some dosh to splash about.
    Have we found a money tree somewhere ?

    Not necessarily. He’s in a losing run and the directors might see this as a way of letting him go without asking for compensation, unless they’ve got every confidence in him turning it around.
