Unacceptable level of ambition/ desire to get out of this mess. And I think he's an arrogant two hat.

I've voted for Graham Alexander as i think he would do well to make us more defensive. I would be really excited with Paul heckingbottom but im unsure if he would work as a manger.

Sol Campbell - Averaged 0.73 points a game at Southend. If it is possible, that is even worse than McCall's record in his 3rd spell.

Someone has already tried to justify it by saying 'but they were in a mess'.

Well we're also in a mess, so if the equation is:

Sol Campbell + mess of a club = disastrous failure

Then you would think it would be a very easy no from everyone involved.

Can we have an other option in the poll? I want Sam allardyce or Liam Rosenior (ambitious I know - haha)

Another two World Cup winners in Bobby Charlton and Nobby Stiles, over the years great footballer don't always make great managers, and vice versa some have become great managers but where average players.

    Yep.

Managers must be judged as managers, not celebrity footballers.

Might as well hire Harry Kewell and his 30 percent win rate.

If we're adding Sam Allardyce can we add Wenger and Ferguson as well. I reckon its about the same chance.

At Macclesfield, the heights of his success, he averaged 1.23 points a game. That would get you 57 points and around 17th place in a full season in this league.

    No thank you.

What a nonsense comment. That’s like saying he’d only get 57 points if he had the Man City squad. 57 points and 17th with the team he had at Macc would be considered a success.

I can't say for certain, but as far as I'm aware Campbell is the only candidate who has had a hand in winding up a football league club. I don't think generosity and forgiveness are directly tied to a candidates wealth, but a less well off person might well be more willing to forgive a debtor simply because they are unwilling to ruin somebody who is prostrate and helpless, it comes down to personality. We allegedly owed Benito Carbone £3.32 million, we were up the sh*t creek without a paddle and he said "don't worry about it" and walked away. I'm betting that £3.32 million was worth a lot more to Carbone than the £182,000 was worth to Sol Campbell.

    Quote Stephen Warnock;

“The training ground is shared with a school, you’re sharing facilities with the school, you can’t go in the gym when they need it. The training ground is a school pitch, if they want it, then they use it.

“These are little things that managers have to juggle with all the time, the players don’t know where they’re going to be training from one day to the next, or whether they’re going to be able to use the facilities that they need to use.

“Often, you’re eating school dinners as well. This is meant to be a professional outfit, but it’s not good enough for that level, or for a club of that size.”

Why were we training at VP last week?

The above from a player like Stephen Warnock is embarrassing. Are you really surprised Sol Campbell and Curtis Guthrie is our level? I’m not.
