For Warnock you can have any of them too, Nigel, Neil, Stephen or even Robert

I'm not convinced he's the answer, when he'll be the eight manager in four years and let's be honest there is a toxic impatience for promotion.

For me it's McCann, because he actually had a team relegated and then promoted them and actually made them even better - with not a lot of cash.

Other than Matt Taylor, who I can't see leaving Exeter, the cost of sacking Adams isn't worth it.

You CAN read it two ways, but you shouldn't, because literally every time he is interviewed he alludes to the fact he is where he wants to be and does not want to move higher up the pyramid until he's ready. That time is not now.

    https://www.thenonleaguefootballpaper.com/features/the-big-interview/389861/fc-halifax-town-boss-pete-wild-happy-with-life-in-the-stands/

If you can read articles like this and still think 'yeah, he wants to manage Bradford City' I'd be shocked.

He says all the time that being at small clubs, being academy manager, doing a good job with less pressure is perfect for him.

How could he come here and use that underdog mentality? He went to a semi pro side for a reason.... Because the fear of failure is minimal.

McCann would have the advantage of knowing good players and contacts to recruit better

TBF he's not going to come out and say I can't wait to move on. He's trying to be respectful to his current employer IMO.

He seems to be a very decent guy.

It would be nuts to appoint him.

Let him do what he's doing.

But either way, he's not going to come here. Hey Pete, wanna drop all the work you're doing that people all around the country think is ace and join the hatchet men? You might get six months out of it!

Absolute no go, and the clearest example I've seen of a manager that isn't right for this club

Irrelevant - there’s no one lasting longer than 6 months in this toxic shthole of a club.
Get that buffoon of an owner out and the fake CEO and we might start getting somewhere.

Nah, Moyes wouldn't be good enough for City, doesn't play 4-4-2, only ever one up front. We'll just have to suffer his 4-2-3-1 awhile longer

To be honest I wouldn't go after McCall and I don't think it would do his health/drinking habits any favours, and that's even if he would be prepared to come back BUT what he would do is get this squad performing a lot better and actually playing some decent football.
This set of players have been under performing under Adams's "style" of football but most of them are capable of much better.
I wasn't against the Adams appointment given his record but I also felt that Trueman/Sellers under an experienced Director of Football wouldn't have been a bad idea. Two young coaches with new ideas working under an old head.
I say this because I don't think any of the usual suspects standout.
Whoever is charge for the rest of the season I hope they put Staunton in alongside Paudie and pick the team around players like Paudie and Staunton along with Sutton, Foulds and Hendrie.

Yes, but I always had "Cump" at my side to mop up afterwards. Especially at Antietam, god that was bloody.
