I don't want to see this same line-up with the diamond again this season

Poor. Horrible game to watch. We were dogged but had no quality about us at all.

Yet we won 3 and drew 2 and 4 of those games were away games.

Not sure what 'this is on Hughes' means.

    Gutted that Carlisle nicked a 90 + 6 winner.

Back to square one with regards the autos, but you have to credit Newport for doing what Newport do.

Not brilliant but there's a lot of twists to come.

Although today feels like a missed opportunity I’d certainly take that points return in both remaining 5 game segments of the season.

glad of the week without a game. get some rest for the players ready to kick on again. 4 out of the last 5 away , 2 wins 2 draws and only 1 og conceded with a home win sandwich in there , pretty good return and players back for next Saturday.

Some crow over him as 'works hard'. I think hes inaffective but with Derbyshire and Eisa out we dont have alot of options. He wont even be in the match day squad when injuries clear up.

Won 4 out of the last 7 compared to none of he previous 5.

Our away points ratio was bound to come down, so not convinced why some seem to think that out home points ratio won't improve.

4 points dropped this week and only one goal scored over two games.

Defensively we have done well and have had to stand up to some very direct sides who are difficult to play against so that is a positive.

However, going forwards we have regressed as the season has gone on. Really disappointed in Hughes over the last few games with his set up and changes. To not make any changes on Tuesday or today is mind boggling and the players were out on their feet early on today. Newport were very limited but had much more energy than us today.

Costelloe is another problem. After an encouraging performance against Gillingham, he's been truly awful and should be nowhere near the side. We can't afford to carry players but that's what we're doing with him.

Banks AND Chapman have to start on Saturday because we're creating next to nothing and have got too complacent hoping if we keep the back door shut, Cook will take his only chance of the game.

Not sure what I think about that result. 1-0 up and looking comfortable, we offered virtually nothing in the second half going forward. Squad rotation barely evident or effective when used in the past two games despite a significant amount of games played recently.

Carlisle showing what it takes to grind a result out.

Being realistic we’ve travelled and played a lot and got another point. Could be much worse. However if it weren’t for Cook I don’t know where we are scoring. Two away games and outside of a Cook header against the bar at Walsall and his goal today, I can only remember Stubbs effort as a realistic chance. If we tiredness is the case then why are we not using the squad? A little dumbfound TBH.....

Just feel we could have done more today. Clayton, Stubbs and Platt were brilliant yet again outside of Cook’s quality for the goal. A little Groundhog Day like....

Today and Walsall both disappointing for me in that MH didn't seem to want to go after the win in the last quarter. Sure 2 away draws isn't desperate, but we are allegedly one of the form teams. We might not have got the wins but I would at least have liked us to try.

Good point for me - as they always are away from home.

Three out of four at home now and so the recently improved home form has to deliver nine points. Away to Crewe, a team who play a more open game than the last three we've played.

And lots of our rivals play each other in the next few weeks, starting with Carlisle visiting Stevenage.
