I asked the same question to a geordie work colleague and he suggested the metro centre and getting the tram, or park at one of the other tram stations because getting away from the ground after the game is a nightmare. They close one of the roads for an hour to allow the fans to leave safely. Now there's a novel idea.

 

It possibly works up there due to a lack of Golf and Audi drivers?
