Oh absolutely it's been done with best intentions and as I said, fair play to them. Where I disagree with you is about wanting to see us do something similar. I much prefer the black ribbon we already have. It's subtle and classy and we all know what it represents.

The fifty year anniversary of signing the best "proper" winger we have ever had - Don Hutchins.

Not a fan, but to be fair, the proceeds of the sales from the hoodies etc went to the burns unit I believe.

Just had a quick look on the club's online shop, it shows how poorly last season's kits have been received when nearly all sizes of home and away shirts are still available at £20. We must do better with this year's attempt!

Agreed - last season’s kits were the worst we've had for many a year.

84/85 shirts it’s gonna be. But that lava lamp has put me off a bit. They were more of a 70s thing? Will be interesting if they are direct replicas or have some spin. Do Macron tailor make or it has to be from their portfolio?

The black one was nice. First shirt I’ve bought in years (for £20).

The black one was decent, the only one that has almost sold out.

I think they set the bar high the previous season with the home kit and the dark blue. The black and white stripes should never be seen again though.

Yes I agree, the black was the best out of the three. The collar was terrible though on all three, plus the “BCAFC” on the collar. Totally unnecessary.

Couldn't agree more Rog. Both kits last season were an abomination.

Hopefully David Brent looks at sales figures and realises they were so low because the style was crap, rather than blaming the cost of living crisis.

We often get one of the two main kits wrong, but don't think we've messed up as badly as this since 2013 with the hoops/ gold/ Cindy's lipstick shirts.

I do not like the 56 "brand". Whilst sympathising with the families and friends of the 56 that died, and their desire to remember, there were 100s physically injured and 1000s emotionally scarred. Some of them had their lives cut short within a few years. Many lived longer and are still alive now, but still carrying their burden quietly and reluctantly. Some families want to remember. Many victims want to forget - but still pay their somber respects when appropriate. A 56 "brand" does not fit with that. It fails to recognise the full damage and ongoing pain of many others on that fateful day.

Lincoln havent added the 56 brand to the shirt for profit, they will sell regardless, whether it is on or off. Its on as a mark of remembrance and respect. No issues from me.

Branding clothing for the soul purpose of the 56 is a different matter.

It would be interesting to see what sales are like compared with last year and whether we have some left due to fewer sales or that we've ordered more. If we beat Wycombe and get to Wembley we probably see a surge and most of the shirts left now are sold. I don't think the sale offers have been good this year, the BOGOF sale was only value if you wanted more than 1 shirt, like others on here the only one I really liked was the black one so that sale wasn't any good. With us now as close to pre-season as the season just ended and the new kits around the corner very few people are going to buy a shirt now if they haven't already at £20 so they should've put the shirts in with the kit man sale the other week and sold them off at £10.

Buy 1 get 1 free was a decent offer. Selling them in the kop wS a good idea too.
I got 4 tops for the price of 2, black one for me (first one I've bought for myself for about 10 years, like it though) 2 for my kids and one for my nephew. There was a big queue when I was there aswell.

    Good offer

It was on a Australia website today, it's just not a good luck, using a football tragedy as a branding is sooooooooooooo wrong,
