New Kits 2024/25

I was driving to work on Wednesday morning about 7:45ish going down Leeds road towards Greengates, near the Hitching Post pub near Idle. This bloke was with his I presume wife walking their dog.... head to toe in city merch! To be honest I was more impressed that he keeps up the gimmick a) dog walking and b) in the off-season!

 

I’m a L and buy 2xl macron. I guess I don’t eat enough pasta. Soul destroying when you see the actual players are wearing size M. Then again, they don’t get to drink as much as I do.

 

I’m impressed that they make full city kits for dogs!

So underrated were Carter!! Saw them at Queens Hall (one of many times!!) and they were fantastic. Seen Jim-Bob a few times solo recently as well.

Very busy in the shop at lunchtime today. Plenty of gear on sale but only if you are either small or 5xxxxxl.

Liked the shirt before I bought it and love it now. Funky design.

Well I was hoping that it will be fantastic footy that keeps me humming.

 

Bought my shirt but its like a dress compared to previous Macron kits!

Might have to downsize...

 

Compared to some of the abominations in recent years I think it’s a decent enough home strip. I’d have preferred some claret and amber trim on the sock tops, but plain black could be worse I guess.
But I won’t be buying another striped City shirt all the while they have plain backs. I really hate that. The 22/23 home shirt was a beauty because it had proper stripes all the way round. I guess I’ll be wearing that one until it wears out.

Yeah. That’s why I won’t be buying any more striped City shirts.
