Bradford End said a couple of weeks ago a former player is returning but wont be announced for a couple of weeks so I can only assume they were possibly saving him for the kit launch.

 

Fingers crossed it's someone decent..... would be far too much work for an Omari Patrick level reveal.

 

He didn't specifically say player, he said someone returning to the club, might be Betty the ex tea lady

It is later than usual but it doesn't really matter...........folk will still buy it and after 3 years of trying to drill that into your skull I am surprised it still doesn't register.

Unlike you, the majority of City fans only have one team so they won't be off buying Liverpool kits instead.

As stated yesterday, Macron have only distributed 6 of their 15 kits so far to English pro teams and most the others will likely sell a lot more than City. Macron aren't the distributors that your big boys are and their sports catalogue has grown massively over the last 2 or 3 years. There's always going to be a delay as they grow quicker than they can handle, but it's still going to be out in the first week of July, before a friendly has ever happened...... it's still a more than normal release time.

 

If someone wants to buy a shirt it doesn't matter whether its mid June or 2 weeks later in early July. They will still buy it. And like you say, its pre season and we havent even played a friendly yet.

We had the same individual moaning 12 months ago when it was released 'late' in mid June. The sales figures tells me all I need to know...
