I can see a slump in sales with ours !

 

Too much amber. I would have preferred thinner amber stripes and larger claret ones. Don't like it.

 

if we get promoted in it ill love it forever

 

Not overly keen, but in 12 months it will be gone.

 

Change to stripes and it gets my vote, do not like hoops,it looks like a rugby kit

 

It’s a bit boring stripes after stripes year after year. It’s good to have something different

 

I like it. Will probably buy one when I’m back in a few weeks. Thinks it’s one of those that will look much better in the flesh.

 

Tell that to Newcastle, Sheff Utd & Sheff Weds, Hudds, Exeter, Juventus etc.
Stripes should be our tradition and we should keep them, selling shirts is immaterial.

 

Claret & Amber is the tradition it’s nice to have a change

 

Why is stripes our tradition? Please have a look at our kit history from start to now and tell me what is our kit history

I'm certainly no fashion icon, but surely the shorts should have been claret?

I wouldn't be rushing to buy that shirt either.

 

I don't hate it but I don't love it either, and I think it would look better with darker shorts and socks, whether that be claret or black.
At the end of the day though it's just another shirt and as long as the players wearing it are picking up the points, it'll do for me.

 

You have a point, maybe it depends on when you started going to VP.
I was a child of the 60's so stripes are my upbringing.

 

Well, I understand the reason for hoops. It's 120 years since the club formed so it pays homage to the first ever kit Bradford City played in. It is also similar to the one which the history makers wore - please let that be a good omen!

Not keen on the white trim, shorts and socks however. It's an OK from me. Last seasons was much better though.

 

You've watched football as long as I have not just Bradford City but football generally in that time I can never remember Newcastle United playing in anything other than Black & White strip as their home kit or am I wrong ?.

 

You beat me too it @Jayteebee I asked @Park bantam the same with regards Newcastle United but your other examples are also true.

 

White shorts with out kit is wrong on every level. Black or claret. In fact there should never be ANY white in our traditional kit, and if we must play in white it should be plain white with claret trim.

 

Trying really hard to like this shirt. Love the collar idea and the buttons but white trim? At first glance it doesn't wow me like last years home top did.
