    What on earth is Sparks talking about. Apparently we've had a traditionalist modern shirt last year but this year we're 'walking back' ??? to claret and amber. Want to know the clubs strategy? Apparently its having claret and amber on the grass at all times home or away or wherever.

    It was first class waffle indeed. “Walking back to claret and amber” made me laugh out loud. What on Earth does it mean? I’m guessing “walking back” is going to be this coming seasons buzz word.

    If we are going back to claret and amber stripes I hope they get the colours right and not the rhubarb and custard attempts we have had in the past that looked dreadful, At least get the colours right

    We never get the claret right. Claret is a deep wine colour, not maroon or darkish red which we always seem to see.

    He is saying we 'modernised' a traditionalist shirt. White home kits were part of our tradition throughout the 70s and 80s.

    Back to Claret & Amber but think the 'walking back' seems a poor choice of phrase. Almost like he views as a negative but I am sure he didn't.

    They are just fan concepts. It is pretty obvious that one of our kits will be gold and black based on yesterdays video. Ten years since that famous kit saw us reach the LC Final.

    I hope the JCT600 sponsor is part of the material and not stuck on. Avec kits in recent years had JCT600 as part of the material so no chance of washing off etc.

    I think the odds of that are significantly lower now we’ve seen the badge / Macron logo is heat-pressed silicone as opposed to the usual embroidery we’re used to.
