That shows how much my interest in football has waned this year.
I would have normally taken notice of mangers getting appointed or sacked.

 

This reminds me so much of the Drury appointment.

Nothing against the guy but jeez that is such a bizarre appointment and completely uninspiring.

 

I hope he is praying for a miracle.

 

no wonder the team is performing so badly if he’s taking training.

 

It's of those 4 piece Peppa Pig ones, ones that any toddler can sort easily, but for some reason we are making a right clusterfeck of it!

Steve Cook is the Company Accountant and Alan Biggin who is also an Accountant is Company Secretary and a Director alongside Stefan Rupp.

 

I believe he's Oliver Evans the club Chaplain, seen him a couple of times at training.

Hear hear Park. I've been in exactly the same/similar position, promoted to the Main Board of a FTSE Company after an apprenticeship. No one knows how it will go. People had faith in me and I hope that was justified, suggest we do the same with Ryan.

 

Shoddy budget?. Heard of the Salary Cap?.

 

That's laudable but at the minute we are falling like a stone and running out of time.....

 

How was that FTSE company performing when you were appointed to the board? Did you have a properly structured board? Were they struggling, because we are currently sitting in 20th place in the toilet league and not looking like we've got any form of direction, leadership or a plan of how to get us out of this mess.

 

Is it similar to a dutch cap?

 

Will there be much change as Rupp will hold the purse strings and Ryan although I believe he will be more vocal than Julian I believe he will also be limited to what he can tell fans unless that's the way Rupp wants to go with a new man in the CEO chair.

 

Totally understand Tony as I do frustration that is all around. I have sat through most games live there is only one thing worse than your position and that is watching and freezing to death at the same time so yes I get you but there is time and non league football is not a consideration because I doubt it would happen.
I can say it now with the passage of time but in the first season of PP we just escaped relegation. If we had gone down the only plan was folding, no Conference, nothing.
I believe the only thing in Stefan's mind is survive and go forward.

 

Yeah we knew it was coming in and did nothing about it to get ahead. We knew for months. We missed our chance this summer. Now it’s too late. That’s on the club

 

I wouldn't be so naive - we are on a rapid downward spiral and the appointment of Sparks isn't going to stop that decline. If the board have a plan, suggest they maybe start revealing a bit more of their plan, or at the very minimum start looking like they are in control. Everything smacks of panic and cluelessness.

 

Thanks for that. I was worried about Ryans lack of commercial/financial expertise and experience. Still have concerns, but that's one less now we don't need to get Mrs Rahic back!
