Can't disagree with that at all, Tiffin are a fantastic example of a company putting their heart and soul into Bratfud.

One thing I would point out though is he really needs his pubs to have the same standard as each other. City Vaults, superb adherence to Covid rules, good distancing, brilliant table top service. Won't mention the name of the other but its also owned by Doug McLean and they had NO table service, no sign in and punters getting beers at the bar.

If June 21st is put back two months (as seems to be possible) none of these will be open at the start of the season.

It’s nice to have something different but smoked salmon and prawn bagels and baguettes would not make the sales and generate profit.

Spot on. What sells at football is burgers and pies. Samosas would probably do well but those that buy food at footie will buy it if it fits the bill and those that don't ever (me apart from an odd pie every now and again) won't. If you take your own food its usually because of cost and you could add the finest cuisine available but it wouldnt sell to the bring your own brigade.

 

Yes samosas are a great shout. Whatever it’s got to be what I call, standing up, one hand food. One hand for the drink, one for the food! Simple concept really.

 

Or sheek kebabs in nan with a bit of salad and some chilli sauce. Now I would buy that

so are they doing banqueting as well? That is a different ball game to kiosks

 

Think so, but the same company (or company within their group) run the Headley Venue at Headley golf course and do it exceptionally well so I would expect the banqueting offering to improve dramatically
