Quite agree no 11 year old should be allowed to wander the streets (especially round Maningham) at midnight the parents have either given up or really don't care, either way the "kid" needs to realise the consequences of their actions, doesn't seem like the parents will make them see the error of their ways so it's up to the authorities :unsure:
Being made to write (anonymous if you like) letters of apology to all surviving relatives then made to do some kind of service litter picking, maintenance around VP seat cleaning stand sweeping post match but obviously that won't happen
The only lesson learned is one of "I got away with it" sadly leading to a life of crime and spells at his majesty's pleasure

    As initially thought.
    "Community relations" exercise.

Shocking really the kid won’t learn, or care once it’s died down. Take it they were a local as likely didn’t drive there been a child and would I imagine gotten the trolly from the Tesco up the road. Very deliberate vandalism.

Without full knowledge of the circumstances surrounding what has taken place it is very hard to judge. However, it alarms me that an 11 year old is out roaming the streets of manningham at midnight.

The parents have to shoulder responsibility, they have brought him up. Anything could happen to a boy of his age out so late. Out late either with parental permission or neglect either warrants a thorough discussion no doubt known to authorities.

I may have misread, but nowhere I can see a statement that it's an 11 year old, as a juvenile I think covers 10-17. not it's any excuse mind.

Was it during Ramadan though? Would potentially explain why a local youth would be out at that time.....

It's hard to think this was anything other than a determined pre planned act.

Would have been good to have some sort of anonymous statement from the kids family to publicly apologise and to make a donation to the Burns Unit as a gesture of goodwill.
    Maybe that's to come?
