Seriously what could a third party do to make us look an attractive proposition for any player worth his salt
Another waste of money on the horizon 2nd to bottom of the football league existing players not capable\interested in keeping us in this league etc etc our problems are limitless
We are doomed unless the current squad can pick up points for the rest of the month
Guthrie Novak and Clarke (all his signings) aren't the men to do it irrespective of what Stuart says

yeh, that's what Salford sent out 6 weeks ago. a dossier to all their scouts and agents that work for their club with what they want and finances available to them so they could start working on the deals back in October and they were in place for January 1st. we're playing catch up once again.

 

Hardly a surprise with noone at the club who seems to know how football operates.

Can’t see either happening.Listening to him you wonder if he is watching a different game.He genuinely sounds like he believes we just need a couple of the injured players back and all is right in the world.Doesn't seem to see the lack of quality that is so obvious.Why would he walk if he believes we are so close to turning this shit show around.Dont forget he doesn’t look at the league table so probably thinks we are mid table.

 

Pete Wild the Halifax manager has given all his players an app whereby he can give them clips of the players they will encounter in the upcoming fixture as well as loads more information they're required to absorb before the next game. After a shaky start they're really starting to motor. He had a good record as temporary manager of Oldham too.This kind of attention to detail we can only dream of. Stuart really is in the dark ages.
I really like the look of Jake Hyde their centre forward from Woking too. Any thoughts Simon?

 

he has spoken to city recently but they never returned his phonecall when two players were offered; one u21 international and one senior international from EU. when I asked him re our recruitment policy, his answer was "do you have one?"

 

This kind of thing is pretty standard now, isn't it? Surely we're doing basics like this....

Didn't David Hopkin do this? Seem to recall him saying in post match interviews that all the players got the texts, emails, clips etc?

 

it's shocking. we don't have a recruitment policy. only use certain 'agents' to go through. don't return or answer enquiries. provide little to zero information on what players we are looking for apart from positions. do our business late.

in comparison to other football league clubs who have already been in touch with him in October with pdf dossiers of what type of players they are looking for, wages and fees they can offer + benefits such as housing and schooling. ask for 5 players for each needed with certain attributes that they want. some of the dossiers sent are in quite a bit of detail too. other clubs also send prospective players pdf's with details of the stadium, training ground, local areas for schools and housing, local information on the city, fan base etc etc.
