A good start to the summer recruitment.

I presume a David Sharp signing with the Wigan connections.

Always been impressed with him when I've seen him and league 1 should be a breeze for him.

 

Max Power, wasn't that Homer Simpson in an episode of the Simpsons?

Nice to know Graham Alexander has sobered up and is making decisions again. He did say he would look to next year once he had sobered up.

Good signing. A year tomorrow we signed Sarce which felt like a statement signing, this is another bit of good quality and good CV on the books.

I had to Google his name last year when mentioned as I'd never heard of him and Google again this year to refresh my memory. Is he any good ?

 

Good signing that, subject to how he looks after a couple of seasons abroad. No real concerns with that though unlike when we signed Derbyshire from India.

He's a 3 time L1 champion. Been a captain before too, bringing in proven winners and leaders is a good thing. When Smallwood missed games, we really lacked that midfield steel and all-round leadership. Gap is more than filled.

The Danish League will be a level around League 1. It's not like India where it's Conference North level. The team he has come from finished top 6 which is rubbing shoulders with teams who qualify for european competition year on year. It's probably on par with the Scottish top division.

 

300 L1 appearances - 30 goals - 39 assists

More than capable at this level.
