    Makes sense. He's got another year and Bola is the new starter as Hughes wants an attacking full back and that's just not Foulds game.

    No point him sitting on the bench for 6 months, might as well to go Harrogate and get 15/20 games under his belt under a new tactic, develop his game a touch and then go again next season. We get Ridehalgh back too for back up to Bola, win win for both parties.

    We can only hope the new guys are decent. Hughes is certainly not happy with his squad and is looking to sort it out. Let’s hope we see a side befitting his standard as a player and manager.

    If the worst comes to the worst and Bola gets injured, I believe that Crichlow can play left back and the new Irish lad Kelly is a left sided central defender?

    No such thing. Promotion is the aim and if being ruthless to get the best squad is what it takes then so be it.

    Glad MH is not nicey nicey with the players and trying something to improve the quality of the squad. Time will tell if it works but at least it seems he is happy to ship out those he doesn't think are good enough right now.

    He deemed the lad good enough in the close season, to give him a two year contract! If he's "right" now, he must have been wrong with his analysis of the player in the summer.

    Very surprised by this. Seems a bad move for bringing in a 24 yo who has started only 12 games in his career. Foulds was steady away. We have far bigger problems than at LB - particularly in CM
