I’d argue that there is quite a lot of pressure on the kids at one of the biggest clubs in World football. The job he’s got is a one in a million, dream job.

I don't think I said otherwise but a lad at U15s level still at school IMO would be far easier to coach that a seasoned professional, but we agree with regards his new position and wish him all the best for the future.

To be fair, he's still here until he starts next week

If I'd posted it in the City thread it would have been moved to where are they now.

Fair play to Martin. Fully deserved opportunity after demonstrating his credentials at City. Wish him all the best and hopefully some favourable deals could be struck in the future!

Wonder if Hughes gave him a reference?

Went to the game at Eccleshill and you could see our young team had talent, particularly first half.

Wish him nothing but the best but one in a million job is one of the biggest exaggerations I’ve seen on here in a while, it’s under 15s even the under 23 United and Arsenal coaches went to league 2 clubs this summer and will be seeing that as a huge step up.

If he continues to do a good job, which I hope, then he'll rise up through the age groups and could end up as one of the exciting young U23 coaches snapped up by an ambitious, forward-thinking League Two club :)

Let's hope we're in the Championship by then, though...

His original sentence was correct. The commas in your sentence are wrong, USG. It's a defining relative clause and doesn't make sense if you separate the information. 'The poster who mistakenly corrected someone's use of English on a football forum was USG.' Vs. 'A football forum poster, who styles himself as an American civil war general, mistakenly corrected someone else's use of English.' You're welcome. :)

So he is a coach to the under 15s at Man Utd. I think anyone hoping for any loans etc from it are grasping at straws

Well done Martin Drury, hope he succeeds as youth coach there as much as he has here. Always seemed fairly clear that's where his strengths were during his time with us.

I wonder if we’ll see the reverse of what people are thinking and see some of our younger players heading over to united. Maybe trials like McBurnie had

That wouldn't surprise me Drury will know the better players within that group, who'd have thought Manchester United using little old Bradford City as a feeder club ;).

If it involves someone at the Club leaving, I usually leave it in the City section for a while, before moving it to 'Where are they now' when no one is looking ;).

Congrats. Quite a rise in his career. Didn’t we get absolutely spanked when he had one game is charge as caretaker?
