Stockport are suddenly up to 4th, and Dom Telford (last season's bet) hasn't score a goal yet for Barrow.

 

I’ve made the truly difficult decision to not go on Saturday despite me and the little one having season tickets - I’ve booked a day out elsewhere instead to ensure I don’t change my mind.

Our once proud club is now a shell of itself thanks to - credit to Jake Young - the clueless Mark Hughes.

The level in which we are currently underachieving is in my opinion the lowest in the entire EFL. We’re almost bottom of the professional football pyramid despite the size of the club. It’s inexcusable now.

 

After Cook scored and Lewis saved the pen, they were the ones about to save his skin again. It's quite extraordinary really how out of a massive squad, it's mainly just those 2 players that seem to influence the outcomes of games, whether that be good or bad.

Incredibly I think he will be given Saturday and if the majority of the crowd turn it will be then

  i have been surprised the crowd haven’t got properly stuck in before now but I think losing to terrible Tranny will spark trouble. I envisage him mouthing back to the fans and then Sparks deciding after, that’s enough.

  the stage is set for him to score the goals to get Hughes fired - Young has showcased Hughes’ poor judgement and inability to get the best out of his squad at this level.

Sounds like it was tactics from the manager, went from a from 3 to a front 2 with an extra in CM to try combat County's possession style but dropped it at HT.

 

I can’t believe we would risk Hughes being in charge on Saturday and probably facing another defeat.
The damage to the club would be too big and it’s already substantial. Many of us saw what was coming weeks ago so I have to believe this is n’t a complete shock to Sparks and Rupp. If Sparks has n’t got around to preplanning this scenario then he should be sacked at the earliest opportunity.
He should be already be aware if there are suitable candidates available right now and who he could appoint to take temporary charge immediately if there is no one available. If that means Truman so be it. Truman for a couple of games with a change coming in a few weeks is far more preferable than Hughes sinking us further.

We can come out of this. Imagine how different it could have been if Hughes had n’t applied and Wellens had been appointed as we expected.
