It's his choice not sure its a blame game, it was not my reason for posting if we cant take a little positivity from this signing then were really in a bad way, but @Faithful Bantam has replied with his reasons for his comments.
Time will tell if its the correct decision for both parties, but if nothing else its brightened my day up just reading we have brought in a tried and tested footballer/manager into the club that not one poster suggested as a potential candidate and that for me is a positive appointment.

I said any protest should be a walk out part way through the match. Now we have appointed Hughes, any protest should be totally shelved until (or if) there is any evidence that he isnt being backed.

I dont care what happens now, this season, as long as we stay up. We could finish 22nd for all I care, Sparky need to be given time to fully assess the squad, shift on the deadwood (most of the squad) and rebuild in the summer.

This season is a dead rubber, thanks to deluded Derek, but Rupp has now shown us the biggest signal of intent it would be possible to give other than re-appointing Parky. Any thoughts of a protest against Rupp have to be shelved until (if) it transpires that this is a vanity project.
