    lol, outside of international management where he did fairly well (and tbh that was only fairly well for the time, his record looks awful compared to some more recent managers) he has pretty much failed at any job he has had.

    Are City really that bad that that's the best they can attract now?

    It's almost like the appointment is based on what's going to get the most views on social media

    Id have him till the end of the season to see if he can get a tune out of our current lot but it looks like weve committed to another long term and possibly expensive contract.

    Maybe because you lot were considering more serious candidates. People with a pedigree of doing well with the kind of situation City are in. And someone who isn't a dinosaur when it comes to how they set teams up?

    He won't. His style is very much like a couple of managers you have had in the past. That being route one. Even if that way was more effective these days than it actually is you don't really have the players to fit that

    My first thoughts.

    Out of the blue.

    Plenty of managerial experience at the highest level and that he likes to spend the cash.... Its that last bit, I'm at odds with.
