Weird isn't it, Platt looks totally lost at home but last night was positive and affective ..

I know it was a dramatic and therefore emotional finish yesterday evening, but have we seen this level of obvious motivation and celebration across the squad in recent years? Got to stand us in good stead.

    Up the bantam chickens.

As I said a few weeks ago Tony, I much prefer us playing away. The difference to me is it’s more mixed up play, a better balance of medium long and short passing is the way forward just like last night. We do it away and yet at home we don’t. The passing across the back four with 8 men in front of you plus two chasers harrying the defence is prone to mistakes and terribly difficult to break down. Fine when you are a couple of goals up but at nil nil let’s mix it up.

Additionally when away, teams MUST come at you, therefore opening up play and space.

    A much better spectacle.

Cook, Smallwood, but in particular Sparky - the way he behaved in front of us at the final whistle, i've never seen a City manager so genuinely buzzing at the end of a game. Absolutely unreal scenes, hopefully many more to come!

They’re a likeable bunch this lot. The strongest bond between club and fans for a while. If we can just sort our bloody home form out…

Yep, Harry Lewis singing the Andy Cook song and Eieieio at the end shows how much he's certainly enjoying it.

Hence the dog on your profile. I take it the black Labrador is yours, maybe you should get a Yorkshire Terrier as well.

T'was back in the early 70's with the likes of Worthington, Wilson, White, Massie, O'Grady, Nicholson and the like, far better quality in those days than now ...

In fairness Andy, Mansfield's 12th man had a fantastic game for them and did much of their best work. Though the Platt sending off did us alot of damage, his piece resistance for his team-mates was adding on ten minutes at the end. Which he also managed to stretch to twelve minutes.

MH will be bald by the end of the season, after tearing his hair out every week over the standard of refereeing in L2.

In the second half, I was more worried about what he was going to do next than any of the Town players. Ten minutes extra time that then became 12 minutes was his piece de resistance!

Couldn't agree more, from every player around the pitch. And exemplified by Cook's fantastic running down of James Perch then turning him inside out and finding the space to score a fantastic goal. Would Cook have tried that last season? I don't think so. The fitter, more single-minded Cook has made himself into a better striker.

Sutton will bang balls into the box from distance and on this season's showing thus far, I'd much prefer Songo'o was underneath them. Timi's got alot of pace and promise but is indecisive when the bombs are falling. Yann may not be the most cultured but he's a proper put it all on the line impact defender.

I would love to beat them in the playoff final at Wembley. That would be a heavenly way to get promoted
