    Wasn't it Cotterill that turned us down to go to Notts County a few years ago , then left them when they were top of league 2 to become manager at Portsmouth.

    Met him once in a hotel and he was a right arrogant so and so. Mark Lawn didn't like him either when interviewing him previously.
    I just cannot see him working with our owners, I doubt he would take kindly to interference from above.
    Mixed career, as most of managers his age have

    Would I approve of him being appointed?, yes I probably would. Not a matey manager like McCall, but like Grayson would demand 100% of his players all of the time and wouldn't stand for players not pulling their weight.

    All that said, I still reckon it will be Rosler

    TBH, it doesn’t matter who the manager is, if they are not in the top two they will be sacked. Promotion on a reduced budget or bust!

    Would be interesting! Mr Cotterill does have a reputation as having bit of an ego but would be unlikely to take any rubbish from Mr I know football.

    He does have five promotions with 3 different clubs, 3 of them as champions + winning the FA and Football league trophies.

    A bit of pillock? Maybe but I'd take a successful pillock.
